THE STAGE
A graduate of the Ballet Rambert,
Chiara also trained at The Arts Educational School before training in classical singing.
Career highlights include creating roles for English National Opera, Swedish Opera,

Grange park Opera, Tête-à-Tête and
Longborough Festival Opera.

Chiara will be making her debut at The Valetta Baroque Festival with the Weaver Ensemble as Hester Santlow in The Remarkably Talented Mr.Weaver. An eighteenth-century choreographic fantasy set to music by Clarke, croft, Eccles, Finger, Lully, Paisible and Purcell, devised and created by Stephen Wyatt and Evelyn Nallen.

Ainadamar brilliantly reimagines the life of poet and playwright Federico García Lorca, whose politics and sexuality led to his brutal execution during the Spanish Civil War. His story comes to life with startling beauty in this electrifying show. Osvaldo Golijov’s Grammy-award winning cinematic score grabs you from the very first beat – weaving together influences from around the world in a mesmerising mixture of opera and the traditional song and dance of Andalusia. Directed by Deborah Colker and conducted by Stuart Stratford.

“A Journey Home” is an evening of music & spoken word to raise funds for The Refugee Buddy Project.
The evening will draw upon different cultural and musical influences, all related to a journey somewhere and finding a home to settle in. We ALL find refuge in our homes, should we be lucky to have one. Our two, local, professional opera singers Chiara Vinci & Anthony Flaum & pianist Elizabeth Rowe will take you on a musical journey from opera to music hall to jazz, interspersed with real-life images and stories from the charity’s incredible work.
